DR. C.C. HAYLEY

Dr. C.C. Hayley obtained his doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1940. He began practice in Electra and in 1946 he moved his practice to Wichita Falls to become junior partner to Dr. H. A. Harbour. Following Dr. Harbour’s move to Kerrville Hayley Eye Clinic was a single practice until joined in 1978 by son Dr. Joe Hayley and later by Dr. Terry Kirkland. Granddaughter Dr. Jodi Hayley Streich entered the practice in 2008 and grandson Dr. John Hayley entered in 2010. For twenty years he conducted optometric clinics under the auspices of the Rio Grande River Ministry in cities and villages in Mexico along the Rio Grande River. Dr. C.C. retired from practice in 2005 after 65 years, but retained his active license to practice and became holder of the oldest optometric license in the State of Texas. He served on the Wichita Falls Planning Commission, chairing it for one term, and was a member of the NORTEX Regional Planning Commission TRACS Review Committee from its inception. |
Membership and activity in the Lions Club continued in Wichita Falls Founder Club until his illness prevented him for a total of 65 years. He was a donor to the Red Cross Blood Bank and through years of membership held offices in the Northwest Texas Optometric Society and the Texas Optometric Association. Ordained deacon in Electra, he served as Sunday School Director and was active in Boy Scouts and Lions Club. In Lamar Baptist Church he was Sunday School Director, Chairman of Deacons and chaired numerous committees including those charged with building the sanctuary and the Family Activities Center and acquiring the Priddy House. He was the chairman and parliamentarian of the Wichita Archer Clay Baptist Association, and a member of the Executive Board of the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
DR. JOE C. HAYLEY

Dr. Hayley is a second generation optometrist. He is a native of Wichita Falls and graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1970. Dr. Hayley furthered his career by attending the University of Houston where he received a bachelor’s degree in pre-optometry, followed by his doctorate in the field in 1977. Dr. Hayley is currently therapeutically licensed in the state of Texas, including being an optometric glaucoma specialist. From the beginning of practice in Wichita Falls, he has devoted considerable amount of time to civic and community activities. He was active in the University Kiwanis club for 7 years and he is passionate about the Boy Scouts of America. He is an Eagle Scout and has been awarded the Silver Beaver and Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor.
Dr. Hayley has also served as president on the Archer City I.S.D. trustee board and is active at First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls; including past roles as Sunday school teacher and director. Although Dr. Hayley has spent considerable time around a board table, he finds breaks to enjoy his favorite pastimes including golf and table tennis. Dr. Hayley is married to his devoted wife, Diana, and they have two children who have now joined him in the practice. |
DR. JODI HAYLEY STREICH

Dr. Streich is a third generation optometrist in Wichita Falls, TX. She grew up in Archer City, graduating valedictorian from Archer City High School in 2000. While attending high school, she was involved extensively with music, sports, and academics. Dr. Streich received her Bachelor of Science in Natural Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2004. She further pursued her education by attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where she received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2008. Dr. Streich completed externships at both the Veteran’s Administration and in primary care.
Through interaction with her own and other children, she finds great joy in infants and youth, including the promotion of the InfantSee Program (a government program designed to give free examination to children between the ages of 6-12 months). Dr. Streich is currently therapeutically licensed in the state of Texas, including being an optometric glaucoma specialist. Dr. Streich is the granddaughter of Dr. C. C. Hayley, daughter of Dr. Joe Hayley, and sister of Dr. John Hayley. Dr. Streich is married to Kyle Streich, a native of Wichita Falls. They have three sons, Easton, Harrison and Hudson. |
DR. JOHN W. HAYLEY

Dr. John Hayley is a third generation optometrist. Graduating valedictorian from Archer City High School in 2003, he enjoyed growing up in a small town. During this time he was able to gain broad experience from a supporting community in everything from academics, music and scouting (achieving the level of Eagle Scout) to computer networking, construction and welding. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Summa Cum Laude, from Dallas Baptist University in 2006. He received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2010 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Hayley’s education is tailored toward ocular disease and contact lens fitting; however, he is also extensively trained in pediatrics, low vision, and vision therapy.
Dr. Hayley currently has licenses in both Texas and Oklahoma, including his anterior segment laser certification in Oklahoma and glaucoma specialist license in Texas. He is the grandson of Dr. C.C. Hayley, son of Dr. Joe Hayley, and brother of Dr. Jodi Streich. Dr. Hayley is married to his wife Lauren, who is a pediatrician. Together they welcomed their first child, Caroline, in 2014 and their son, Jack, in 2017. |
DR. OMAR DAVID GARZA
Dr. Garza received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston in 1999. His final year of optometric education included a year of externships in Madrid, Spain and the Spokane U.S. Veterans Medical Health Center. He also practiced briefly in Washington State following his graduation from Optometry school. In 2001 Dr. Garza returned to the state he was born and raised in, Texas.
Dr. Garza was a government contractor for the United States Air Force (USAF). He was the head clinical optometrist for the Flying Class I (FCI) and Medical Flight Screening (MFS) programs at Brooks City Base located in south San Antonio. His tasks included comprehensive ophthalmologic and refractive examinations for all potential and future USAF pilots. Dr. Garza also supported the Aeromedical Clinical Services (ACS) Ophthalmology branch examining current USAF pilots who had any visually significant conditions such as glaucoma, keratoconus, cataracts and other eye diseases.
Dr. Garza has two children. His faith and his family are the main focus of his life. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Dr. Garza is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys conversational Spanish with his patients. Dr. Garza joined the Hayley Eye Clinic team in September of 2021 and is excited for the opportunity to be an active member of the Texoma community as he will travel between our Wichita Falls and Vernon clinic locations.

DR. MORGAN GOBER

Dr. Morgan Gober was born and raised in Graham, Texas, and is proud to return to serve the community she has always called home. She graduated from Graham High School before attending the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology with highest honors, graduating summa cum laude. During her time at UT Austin, she was also a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
Dr. Gober earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Valedictorian of her class. While in optometry school, she received numerous clinical excellence awards. She also served as a teaching assistant for first-year students in their clinical training course, mentoring future optometrists as they began their clinical education. Dr. Gober provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She has particular interests in dry eye therapy, management of ocular disease, and pediatric eye care. She is committed to thoughtful, personalized care and believes that truly listening to her patients is essential to protecting long-term eye health. Returning to her hometown is especially meaningful to Dr. Gober. She feels honored to care for the families and community that supported her from the beginning and strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for every patient. |
DR. CHRISTIAN CROSS
Dr. Christian Cross, is passionate about helping patients achieve their best vision and long-term eye health. A DFW native and graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry, Dr. Cross provides comprehensive eye exams, vision correction, management of eye diseases, and specialty contact lens fittings.
He takes time to explain every step of the exam so patients understand their eye health and feel comfortable asking questions. Dr. Cross also has a strong passion for optical styling, helping patients choose frames that not only meet their vision needs but also boost confidence and reflect personal style.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Cross is dedicated to making every patient feel at ease and understood. Whether it’s your first exam or you’re looking for advanced care, Dr. Cross is here to provide personalized attention and genuine care for your eyes
